Due to the flooding of the Danube, on December 24, 2023, at midnight, the Major of Budapest declared a flood protection alert. The Danube will reach a water level that will unfortunately cause it to overflow its banks within days.
Navigation will become hazardous and dangerous, and our company decided to cancel all cruises between December 25 and December 29.
Safety first and all above! It is difficult to predict exactly how high the water will be and we are better safe than sorry.
The quay in our area will be closed for cars, public transportation, taxis, etc. and shortly will be closed also for pedestrians.
We’ll open the booking from 29th December when will are sure about the safe situation.
